New York · Virtual care
A space to heal, not just to be managed.
I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner caring for adolescents and adults in New York. I offer medication management and psychotherapy together, in one practice.
I offer free phone consultations. New-patient scheduling opens on Alma, the system I use for booking.

Care
Three ways I can help. Most people continue in ongoing care with me. A one-time evaluation is also available.
Psychiatric evaluation
Sometimes it is hard to know what will help, or what the core issues are. I do a detailed evaluation and give you clear recommendations. Many people continue treatment with me, and I’m also happy to do a one-time evaluation.
Medication management
Starting medication can feel daunting. If you are already on medication, you may be wondering about side effects, a different regimen, or whether medication is the right choice. We’ll review the options together, step by step.
Psychotherapy
In therapy I draw on cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, and mindfulness. Many people find they can sit with hard feelings more easily, and see relationship patterns more clearly.
Joelle Rotman, PMHNP
I specialize in depression, anxiety, complex trauma, and ADHD. I know reaching out can feel like a lot. I promise a compassionate, judgment-free place to say what is going on.
Visits are virtual on Zoom for now, and an office is on the horizon. I trained at New York University and McGill University.
