“To love oneself is the beginning of a life-long romance.” — Oscar Wilde
I’m a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I provide medication management and psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. I trained at New York University and McGill University.
My background
My path started as a pediatric nurse on a medical unit. I was drawn to the stories children and families shared about managing serious illness, and I was struck by their strength. I wanted to foster that resilience, which led me away from medical nursing and into mental health.
Over 15 years I have worked with people of all ages, from young children to older adults. My practice today is still shaped by those early years as a nurse. I aim to understand what you are carrying, and I stay genuinely interested in your resilience.
I have been in private practice for six years. I prescribe conservatively. I consider medication carefully, alongside therapy, and I don’t treat it as the automatic answer.
I see adolescents and adults in New York. Visits are virtual on Zoom for now, and an office is on the horizon.
